Shipping + Returns

Shipping Policy

All standard orders of in-stock items will be processed and leave the warehouse in 1-3 business days. Please allow an additional 5-7 business days for orders containing personalized items to ship. 

Orders are usually delivered in 5-7 business days, across India. 

We provide free standard shipping to orders over Rs.5000. All other orders are charged a flat rate of Rs.125. 

For all cash-on-delivery purchases, an additional handling fee of Rs.100 will be applied at checkout. We will call to confirm your mobile number prior to processing your cash-on-delivery order. Any unreachable customers will be emailed for further contact. If we are unable to reach you for 10 days from the date of your order, it will be cancelled. 

Once your order is ready to be shipped, we will send you a shipping confirmation email with the tracking number so that you can easily track your order.

Exchange + Returns Policy

You may exchange or return items within 7 business days of receipt. If 7 days have gone by since you received your order, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Returns that do not meet our policy will not be refunded.

Customized products and products sold during a sale (or from the Sale section on our website) are exempt from exchanges or returns. Certain fragile products are also exempt from exchanges or returns. Please read the product description for specific information.

For generating an exchange or return, please contact our customer care team at customercare@thepaperco.in with your order number and details of the item(s) you would like to exchange or return.

 

Returns

We will send you a return label and schedule a pick-up for the return. Once your returned item(s) is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. 

For payments made through credit cards, debit cards or net banking, the refund will be processed to the same account within 24-48 business hours of us receiving the returned products. It may take 5-7 additional business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

For cash on delivery transactions, we will require your bank account and billing details to process the refund. This process will be completed within 24-48 business hours of us receiving the returned products and your bank details on email. It will take an additional 5-7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

The returned amount will exclude original shipping charges, return shipping charges and transaction fees. 


Exchanges

We only replace items if they are damaged or if the product sent isn’t the one you ordered. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customercare@thepaperco.in and we’ll contact you with further details. If we've made an error while shipping your order, we'll ship the correct items right away and arrange for the return of the wrongly sent items. 

 

Cancellations

If you would like to cancel your order, please email us at customercare@thepaperco.in for further information. All cancelled orders will be refunded to the original mode of payment. The returned amount will exclude original shipping charges and transaction fees (only for payments made by credit cards, debit cards or net banking). 

Invoices

All invoices are generated for individuals. If you require a tax invoice in the name of your company, please drop us an email at customercare@thepaperco.in after placing your order or mention it in your order notes & we will be happy to send you a tax invoice. 


Gifts

Our gift wrap option allows you to send customised stationery gifts packaged in a luxurious gift box decorated with our signature monochrome accents. If the option of gift wrapping is selected for your order, the receiver will get a gift invoice with the order.

For any exchanges, returns or cancellations, gift wrapping charges will be non-refundable once shipped. If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he or she will find out about your return. 

 

Digital Gift Cards

Gift cards are emailed to the purchaser and can be forwarded or printed by you for gifting. They are redeemable online on www.thepaperco.in and remain valid for one year. Digital gift cards are a form of payment, so they can be used more than once, provided there is balance remaining on the card. However, they cannot be refunded, either in full or in part, for cash or any other form of digital currency. 

Products purchased using a gift card can be returned or refunded, provided they meet our other terms, as mentioned above. 

 

Return Shipping

All shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. However, we can provide return shipping labels if you prefer, the cost of which will be deducted from your refund payment. If you are returning a large order, we suggest you to consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
