Volume 42 Pencil Set

The Volume 42 pencils are a tribute to Jackie Robinson and all those who pursue their passions, creative or otherwise, regardless of the obstacles in their way. Jackie Robinson, the first African-American baseball player, was called up to the Major Leagues by the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947, breaking the colour barrier and providing much needed momentum to the desegregation movement that extended well beyond baseball. These pencils feature his iconic red 42 uniform number and the blue of Brooklyn Dodgers. The balanced graphite core is prefect for everyday writing or doodling.
